The Sun in the Wood is a great venue for celebration parties.

We can offer Parties of up to 56 people in the warm comfortable surroundings of our character Country Pub & Restaurant. Click to view the Celebration parties menu.

You can also book the Pub for your private parties or Weddings etc....

We also have a fantastic 9 hole crazy golf course in our woodland garden, and this makes for a great BBQ party event, without breaking the bank.  

The Privilege Club

Are you a member of The Sun in the Wood Privilege Club? Getting a Privilege card is simple and it is free.

All you need to do is visit us on four occasions in a three month period. You will then get your gold Privilege Club Card.

You can then use this on all future visits and save towards receiving your £20 Privilege Club vouchers.

Smoked haddock & lemon grass risotto,

topped with king prawns in a crispy Thai style batter

 

Home made chicken liver pate with a caramelised

orange & balsamic reduction & toasted French bread

cake with a sauvignon blanc sauce, topped with crispy fried seaweed

 

Oven baked Portobello mushrooms filled with leeks,red

peppers & courgettes.Glazed in goats cheese & served
